On-Site Heat Treatment (Annealing) Services

When there is a bearing failure on the crankpin surface, the crankpin must be machined. In some cases of crankpin bearing failures, cracks and overhardened areas can be found due to excessive heat input on the journal. Matra offers on-site machining services where it can combine its heat treatment (annealing) process in order to reduce the hardness to maker accepted hardness limits.
Matra is the first company in Turkey which started heat treatment of crankpins insitu. Within years of experience on the crankshafts, Matra has very skilled technicians who can travel all around the world to provide solutions. Matra has successfully completed more than 200 heat treatment cases.
