Matra offers top notch quality in cylinder head reconditioning with its 65 years of background regardless of engine maker and engine type.
Cavitation and corrosion which occurs in the exhaust seat bores can be reconditioned either by cast iron welding or laser cladding and machining to standard or oversize.
Grinding of valves/seats, surface grinding, machining of seat bores can all be done in our facility. Matra can also perform cast iron or laser cladding repairs on the water jacket o-ring areas of cylinder covers.
Matra is CNC manufacturing its own inlet/exhaust seats and guides.
