Connecting Rods

Connecting rods are very important components of the engine as they are working directly the heart of the engine, which is the crankshaft. In case of any dimensional problems such as excessive ovality, the crankpin bearing might fail and result in crankpin damage which is the most unwanted situation on the engine. Matra can recondition all kinds of connecting rods with CNC machining of serration faces and reboring of the big end bore. Also, small end bushes can be replaced with new to prevent any possible failures on the piston pin.
