Depending on the condition of the given piston crown, Matra offers partial or full reconditioning.

Partial reconditioning includes reconditioning of the ring grooves by hard chrome plating (in house hard chrome plating facility). Full reconditioning includes reconditioning of the ring grooves by hard chrome plating and reconditioning of the piston top surface. Matra workshop is well equipped with automated welding robots and CNC machines.
